Year 6 Residential - Grenville House Day 4

Our final full day has come to an end, and it has been another fantastic day, with the children doing brilliantly throughout all of their activities.

This morning, we split into three groups. One group headed off caving, another took to the water in kayaks, and the third group tackled the indoor climbing activities.

After a lunch of pasta and flapjack, the groups split again. This time, one group swapped into the kayaks while the other headed to the abseiling cliff to take on a new challenge.

We then returned to the house for another excellent dinner - a roast complete with Yorkshire puddings!

The evening activity centred around a quiz about the week's adventures before everyone enjoyed a hot chocolate and settled down for bed. 

We have been incredibly impressed with the children throughout the week. We have watched them grow in confidence, resilience and determination with each passing day. It has also been wonderful to see them develop their independence, from preparing themselves for activities to keeping their rooms tidy and organised.
